Office Online Server

The application supports the viewing of files in the native file format of the original application that created the document, without the use of a third-party plug-in. The Office Online Server (OOS) is a web service that uses OOS with an optional Web Application Open Interface (WOPI) service to allow clients to access documents.

Important: Your organization must have an Office Online Volume License with Microsoft and the latest version of OOS as documented on the OOS release schedule. For more information about OOS, see the MSDN documentation for this product.
