Work with production export templates

You can create, clone, and modify production export templates using the Load File Templates functionality.

Create a new production export template

You can export the production after you lock and print it.

To set up a new export template, if an export template does not already exist:

On the Case Home page, under Manage Documents, click Load File Templates.

Click Add.

In the Name box, type a name for the load file template.

Note: Do not use the following characters, because they are reserved for Microsoft Windows file and directory naming: \ /: *? \" <> |

In the Export type list, select Production.

In the Template list, select one of the system templates described in the following table, or select Manual to create your own. If you select a template, you have the option to adjust, delete, re-sort or add any columns or values.

Manual Either

If you selected Manual from the Template list, in the Document/Page list, select Document or Page.

Click Create.

In the Actions pane, click Save Template.

Clone a production export template

You can also use the following procedure to clone a production export template.

On the Case Home page, under Manage Documents, click Load File Templates.

Select the production export template you want to clone.

Click Clone template.

Change the name, if needed.

Note: You can only clone a production load file template to create the same type of template. For example, when you clone a DAT production load file template, you can only create a new DAT production load file template. You cannot clone a DAT production load file template to create a DAT general load file template.

Add columns to a production export template

To add a column:

On the Case Home page, under Manage Documents, click Load File Templates.

Select a production export template.

Click the arrow next to Add Columns.

Select From variable builder.

The Variable Builder appears. Use the Variable Builder to pick the value for the new column field. For more information, see Work with the Variable Builder.

Click Save.

Important: If you changed any of the default export paths in your production, you should make similar updates in the production export template to properly reference an image, native, or text path.
