Work with security for objects
Objects are items such as fields or issues that groups can use when they code documents. All objects are unavailable by default. Only administrators can set security for objects. Security is applied by group.
Objects that have been created are available in the list on the Objects page. A number in parentheses after an object type indicates the number of objects that you can set security for. For example, the number 99 after the Binders object indicates that you can set security for 99 binders.
You can set the following security options for each object:
Binders: Deny, Allow, Add, Delete
Bookmarks: Deny, Allow
Coding Templates: Deny, Allow

Conditional Templates: Deny, Allow

Note: You can make some document fields writable.

Note: By default, all security settings are set to Deny. However, when a case is upgraded from an earlier version of the application, the existing settings remain in place.
