Export and print transcripts

You can export transcripts to Microsoft Word.

You can also export transcripts as portable case format (PCF) files, to share with users outside of the application.

Export transcripts to Microsoft Word

Group members and group leaders can export transcripts to Microsoft Word.

After you export a transcript to Word, you can use the print options in Word to print a hard copy. For example, you can print a hard copy that includes multiple transcript pages on a single sheet of paper.

To export a transcript to Word:

To open a transcript, do the following:

On the Case Home page, on the Case Home menu, select Transcripts.

In the transcripts list, click a transcript.

In the transcript viewer, click the Export to Word button.

By default, all of the transcript pages are exported. To change the page range, in the Pages lists, select beginning and ending page numbers.

By default, all of the transcript issues (highlight types) and note categories are included. To omit a transcript issue or note category, clear the check box next to a transcript issue or note category.

Click Export.

Open or save the file.

In the transcript viewer, click Close.

Download transcripts as PCF files

Group leaders can download transcripts as portable case format (PCF) files. A PCF file includes transcript issues (highlights) and notes, and can contain multiple transcripts.

A PCF file allows you to share the transcript with users outside of the application.

To download transcripts as a PCF file:

On the Case Home page, on the Case Home menu, select Transcripts.

In the navigation pane, click Manage Files.

Select the check box next to the transcripts that you want to download.

Click Download as PCF, and then click OK.
