Set security for workflows
Administrators can set permissions for workflows. The permissions that you set determine who can view the workflow. The permissions also determine who can create assignments by adding or removing documents from phases in the workflow.
For information about how to set security for multiple workflows at the same time, see Work with security for objects.
To set security for a workflow:
To access the workflow Security page, do the following:
On the Case Home page, under Review Setup, click Workflows.
Click the workflow that you want to set security for.
In the navigation pane, click Security.
Depending on which groups you want to set security for, do the following:
To change the security for a user group, hover over the row for the group, and then select an option.
To change the security for all user groups, select an option in the heading row. Then click OK.
The following security settings are available.

After you set security for a new workflow, you add documents to the phases of the workflow. This creates assignments. For more information, see Create assignments.
