Manage case finalization scripts

Use the case finalization setting to run a case finalization script after adding, changing, connecting to, or cloning a case. Only system administrators can access the Case Finalization option.

Case finalization is optional and off by default. The script is a batch file that runs custom processing steps, for example, creating tables, adding fields to existing tables, configuring servers, and enabling the application options.

To use a case finalization script:

On the Portal Home page, under Portal Management, click Settings.

In the navigation pane, click Case Finalization.

Select Use a case finalization script. The selection enables other options.

Type the following required information:

Server name (location): Indicate the location of the case finalization script.

Script path on the server: Indicate the path of the script on the server.

Windows domain user name: Indicate the user name for the domain.

Password: Enter the password needed to log in to the server. Select Show password to display the password only on this page.

To allow the script to contact remote servers within the same domain, select Script requires delegation.

Caution: Only select this option if it is necessary to contact the servers, because this may pose a security risk.

To save, click Save. To restore the previously saved settings, click Reset.
