Configure the Timeline pane

You can configure the Timeline settings described in the following table.

To do the following...	Do this...
Add the Timeline pane to the workspace	For information about how to add panes to the workspace, see Customize the workspace.
Change the color theme	For information about how to change the color theme, see Select a color theme.
Set a user default date field	In the Timeline pane, in the date field list, select a date field. Only date fields that you have permissions for appear in the list. The user icon appears next to the date field name.
Hide the Timeline	In the Timeline menu, click the Collapse button. The Timeline collapses to a thin pane. To show the Timeline, click the Expand button.
