Find documents with similar concepts

You can select text in a document, and then search for documents that contain similar concepts to the selected text.

Tip: The Map pane provides a visual representation of documents based on the similarity of concepts. For more information about the Map pane, see Review documents in the Map pane.

To find similar documents based on the concepts in a selection of text:

Select a document.

In the View pane, select from the following:

To view the text extracted from the document with simple formatting applied, click the Formatted content button.

To view the text extracted from the document without any formatting, click the Unformatted content button.

In the View pane, highlight the text that contains the concepts that you want to search for.

Right-click, and then click Find similar.

The application performs a search for documents that contain similar concepts to the selected text. The results appear on the Documents page.
