Code documents in the Map

You can quickly code documents within the Map by applying a quick code. A quick code is a color-coded value that is associated with a coding field. Your case administrator or review lead configures the available quick codes.

Note: If multiple reviewers are allowed to review and code the same document at the same time, a document's quick code may change while you are working in the Map. To make sure that you are reviewing the most recent quick code values in the Map, you should occasionally reload the Map. For more information, see Reload the Map.

For information about additional ways to quick code documents on the Documents page, see Quick code documents.

To code documents in the Map:

In the Map pane, select documents in a cluster, select an entire cluster, or select multiple clusters.

To select multiple documents or clusters, press Shift and click additional documents or clusters. The documents or clusters are highlighted in the Map and the documents appear in the Working list.

Right-click in the Map, and then click a quick code.

Tip: To focus your review on uncoded documents, you can periodically remove coded documents from the Map. For information about how to remove coded documents, see Remove coded documents from the Map: sweep documents.
